South Africa did not had the best start of the tournament by loosing against England on last Thursday. They have struggled by chasing a total of 311. In other hand Bangladesh is not at his best form either, on the warm up game they had a match abandoned and the other one they lost against India. Despite the bad start for South Africa, they will not allow the same mistakes to happen once again and surely they must have learned how the pitch worked and will be not much of a difference today either, so a slight advantage for the Proteas to get their first victory of the tournament and also South Africa has won 3 out of 5 last ODI’s against Bangladesh. Du Plessis would be willing to change the course of the match by contributing with a good score today as per last time he had no much to give for and was dismissed with only 5 runs, although De Kock and Van Der Hussen done their part and it would be expected them to have the same form today as well. Pace has really worked quite well on this type of pitch, certainly a great one for Steyn who unfortunately cannot be playing today due to injury, although Ngidi and Rabada could really do well as they done on last Thursday and hopefully they could knock out a few on the early stages. However I do not underestimate Bangladesh and I do expect a great fight between these two which trading will be a great option as well, but as per the final result, I think South Africa will prevail on this one.
